The company was seeking a solution that would significantly accelerate the reporting process and streamline the making of core business decisions. A key requirement from the manufacturer was implementing an intuitive BI tool that would provide users with easy access to detailed sales data in near real-time.

Zakłady Tłuszczowe Bielmar faced a number of challenges:

  • Reports were generated only on-demand, which limited access to current data.
  • There were many different ways of calculating the same key performance indicators (KPIs), which led to inconsistency.
  • Lack of a coherent view of their sales performance.
  • The data cleansing process was time-consuming and a business burden.
  • The key challenge was integrating data from the newly implemented IFS ERP system with data from the previous PEOK system, which differed in the architecture and structure of key objects

Additionally, a significant goal of the project was to create new reporting areas, including comprehensive dashboards enabling financial analysis and profitability monitoring.
